Miyabi Goto's research interests include criticism and literary debates in modern Japan. In the academic year 2011-12, in her attempt to familiarize herself more with different methodologies of a variety of faculties, she took half of her courses from other departments (Comparative Literature, English, and Philosophy). She plans to complete her general exams and dissertation prospectus in the year 2012-13.
