Xiang LU was appointed as a Chinese language lecturer in 2015. He earned his B.A. from Nankai University, China in 2007 and M.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2010. He is currently a Ph.D. dissertator in Chinese linguistics at UW-Madison. Prior to teaching in Princeton, he has taught Chinese language course of all levels at UW-Madison (2008-2015), and worked as a program assistant at the UW-China Study Abroad Program (summers of 2013 & 2014). He also served as the assistant editor of the International Journal of Chinese Linguistics from 2013-2015, and worked as a project assistant for several linguistic projects. Besides teaching, he is currently working on his dissertation as well as compiling a classical Chinese textbook and a dictionary of Chinese linguistics with other scholars.
