Chunxiao Li wins IEEE Best Paper Award
EE grad student, Chunxiao Li, Prof. Niraj K. Jha and Prof. Anand Raghunathan from Purdue University won the best paper award at the 2010 IEEE International Conference on Cloud Computing for the paper titled, "Secure Virtual Machine Execution under an Untrusted Management OS." Virtualization is a rapidly evolving technology that can be used to provide a range of benefits to computing systems, including improved resource utilization, software portability and reliability. This paper proposes a secure virtualization architecture that provides a secure run-time environment, network interface and secondary storage under an untrusted management environment.
