Two EE Students win awards on Class Day
EE Students William Herlands'12 and Illina Mitra'12 won awards on Class Day. Herlands'12 won the Calvin Dodd MacCracken Senior Thesis/Project Award for developing a system that allows computers to differentiate between string quartets of Haydn and those of Mozart. His advisor is Simon Levin. Mitra'12 examined doping in organic semiconductors which is relevant to the development of organic solar cells. Her advisor is Prof. Antoine Kahn.
