Emmanuel Abbe joins department as Assistant Professor
Joining the EE department this fall will be Assistant Professor Emmanuel Abbe. Prof. Abbe obtained his PhD in the EECS department at MIT, and B.S. and M.S. in the Mathematics Department at EPFL. Before joining the EE department he was a postdoc in the Communication and Computer Sciences School at EPFL working on coding and relating topics such as polar coding for network settings; random combinatorial optimization and secure computing and privacy.
