Malik leads Gigascale Systems Research Center
Prof. Sharad Malik is the director of Gigascale Systems Research Center (GSRC) which brings together the collaborative work of 37 faculty from 15 leading US institutions. The GSRC is one of the six centers that are part of the MARCO/DARPA Focus Center Research Program. The mission of GSRC is to address the research challenges in the design and utilization of chip-scale computing systems to be deployed in the late- and post-silicon era. Each of the centers addresses different aspects of the design and manufacture of computer systems with Princeton-led center focusing on advancing both the hardware and software of future computer systems across a range of applications. Other Princeton faculty taking part in the research include Margaret Martonosi and Naveen Verma. Complete article can be found here.
