Shanechi '08 selected as a HHMI-NIH Research Scholar
Amirali Modir Shanechi ’08 has been selected as an Howard Hughes Medical Institute – National Institutes of Health Research Scholar for 2010-2011. This program allows medical, dental and veterinary students to engage in biomedical research at a laboratory anywhere in the United States except the NIH campus. While at Princeton, Amirali received Freshman First Honor Prize, the Shapiro Prize for Academic Excellence and the Class of 1939 Princeton Scholar Award which is given to the undergraduate who, at the end of the junior year, has achieved the highest academic standing for all preceding college work at the University.
