The Department of Electrical Engineering

Grad students Yu Yuan Chen and Carole Jean Wu each received an Intel PhD Fellowship for the 2011 -2012 academic year. The fellowship provides full tuition and a stipend. They will also each be paired with an Intel mentor aligned with their area of research. Yu Yuan Chen’s thesis is “Data-Centric Architectures for Confidentiality and Integrity”. Yu Yuan is advised by Prof. Ruby Lee. Carole Jean Wu’s theseis is “Dynamic Management for Intra- and Inter-Application Cache Interference”. Carole Jean is advised by Prof. Margaret Martonosi.
