Joseph D'Silva wins Best Poster Award
EE graduate student Joseph D'Silva has won the Best Poster Award at the 2012 Physical Sciences Oncology Center network meeting of the National Cancer Institute. His poster was entitled "“Deterministic Separation of Cancer Cells from Blood at 10 mL/min,” is also co-authored by Kevin Loutherback *11, Liyu Liu, Princeton Physics Postdoctoral Research Associate, Robert Getzenberg, co-advisor Princeton Physics Professor Robert H. Austin, and co-advisor James C. Sturm. The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.
