Dmitry Dylov, an EE Grad student has won a Best Poster Award at the 2009 Memphis BioImaging Symposium. His presentation, entitled "Improving Image Visibility by Nonlinear Signal-to-Noise Coupling," described a method of using nonlinearity to recover and amplify noise-hidden images. Dmitry's advisor is Prof. Jason Fleischer. The annual Symposium, in its sixth year, is an educational and research conference focused on technology developments and clinical applications within the major fields
