Prof. Jason Fleischer, together with Prof. Thomas Bifano of Boston University and Dr. Shelley Batts of Stanford University have been awarded a National Academies Keck Futures Initiatives (NAKFI) Grant. They have received this grant for research on adaptive optics (AO) to improve imagining of the inner ear. AO improves imaging by adjusting the wavefront of light to compensate for aberrations.
