EE Grad Student Yury Polyanskiy has been awarded a 2010 Student Paper Award from the IEEE Information Theory Society for his paper "Variable-length coding with feedback in the non-asymptotic regime," (co-authored with Prof. Vincent Poor and Prof. Sergio Verdu).
