Three EE grad students have received honorific fellowships for the 2011-2012 academic year. The honorific fellowships provide funding to students displaying the highest scholarly excellence in graduate work. Qiang Peter Liu, advised by Claire Gmachl, received the Harold W. Dodds Fellowship. Zhen James Xiang, advised by Peter Ramadge, received the Charlotte Elizabeth Proctor Fellowship and Sibren Isaacman, advised by Margaret Martonosi, received the Wallace Memorial Fellowship in Engineering.

EE Grad Student Sibren Isaacman was recently honored at the annual Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni (APGA) Teaching Awards. Isaacman, currently a PhD. student at Princeton, is one of six recipients of this award. He was an assistant in instruction to Professor of Computer Science Jennifer Rexford for “Introduction to Programming Systems,” a sophomore-level computer science class.
