A little bit about the NUPOC program:
-NUPOC = Nuclear Propulsion Officer Candidate Program
-E6 pay with housing and food allotments (~$4,100 per month in Philadelphia, PA) while finishing school
-Advancement to E7 with one accessed referral
-15,000 dollar bonus for Submarine or Carrier Officers
-Full medical / dental for applicant and immediate family
-Time served towards retirement
-Full leave (2.5 vacation days per month) earned
-No uniforms
-No haircuts
-No military classes
-No affiliation with ROTC units
-Summers off with pay while in school
Programs (after undergraduate or postgraduate completion only:
-Submarines
-Surface (Aircraft Carrier)
-Instructor at Naval Nuclear Power
-Training Command (NNPTC) in Charleston, SC
-Naval Reactors Engineer in Washington, D.C.
Pre-requisites:
-60 credits attained
-Enrolled in or graduated from an undergraduate (4 year) program
-Two semesters Calculus, two semesters Calculus-based physics (Cs or better)
-Competitive GPA (3.0 or higher)
-Pass the Navys physical
-Be able to obtain a work clearance
-Any major welcome but technical/engineering most competitive

The NUPOC Program is not a scholarship. It is full-time employment with pay for students while pursuing their degrees.
