Graphene single layers can significantly increase the electrical conductivity, modulus and gas barrier properties of polymers. Even the fracture toughness of epoxies can be improves at low graphene levels. We will show how the properties of the graphene sheets, their dispersion and their adhesion to the polymer matrix all effect property improvements.
