Lisa Jackson *86 joins board of Tulane University
Lisa Jackson, newly appointed vice president of environmental initiatives at Apple, has become a member of Tulane’s board, the university’s main governing body.
Jackson, born and raised in New Orleans, graduated with highest honors in chemical engineering from Tulane in 1983 and has remained connected to her alma mater. Recent involvement includes giving the keynote address and receiving an honorary degree at Tulane’s Class of 2012 Commencement ceremony, and in 2010, during her term as administrator of the EPA, she participated in the 15th Annual Tulane Law School Summit on Environmental Law and Policy.
Jackson holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering received from Princeton in 1986.
