Friend Center Atrium & Lobby

These public areas under certain circumstances may be used for registration or refreshments for an event taking place elsewhere in the Friend Center. These areas may not be closed to public access. Please be considerate of the students using the Engineering Library adjacent to the Atrium by avoiding excessive noise.
This venue is standing room only; no chairs are allowed to be set up in these areas except to allow necessary seating for staffers who, for example, might be registering guests for an event.
A maximum of four 8’ rectangular tables may be set up in each area for reception/cocktail refreshments. Safety standards do not allow for meals to be served in these areas. Contact Willie Wilson at 258-4974 or Mark Bahadurian at 258-5989 to request tables, extra trashcans, arrange clean-up, etc.
If you are using this area on the weekend, please fill out a Public Safety Lock/Unlock Request Form no later than 24 hours before the event (preferably sooner.) Fax it to 609-258-1958.
