Faculty from the School of Engineering and Applied Science were among the Princeton University delegation to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in January. Below are some videos from the event.

The first features Jennifer Rexford, the Gordon Y.S. Wu Professor in Engineering and chair of the Department of Computer Science.

During her presentation, she explained how machine learning techniques and programmable network switches could enable “self-driving” networks that make Internet infrastructure more robust and reliable.

Sebastian Seung, the Evnin Professor in Neuroscience, a professor of computer science and the Princeton Neuroscience Institute, and co-director of the Program in Neuroscience, explored the implications of mapping the brain.

And Yoram Singer, a professor of computer science, explained how information flows through neural networks, and how this enables applications such as self-driving cars.
