Many faculty and staff apply for grants from Federal or State agencies, from philanthropic organizations, and from Corporate Foundations. When such opportunities involve information technology, EOS is happy to assist.

Our involvement ranges from editing IT-related sections to drafting the entire submission. Please inquire about our involvement as far in advance of deadlines as possible.

Successful efforts have included grants from the state of New Jersey (for electronic classrooms and satellite downlinks), from the National Science Foundation (for Internet2 connectivity), from Princeton itself (the Sustainability Initiative) and from foundations (research in video delivery) and corporations (equipment grants from AT&T and IBM). We have also worked with numerous faculty to assist their grant and reporting requirements.

Our most recent efforts: a successful proposal to investigate the use of Kindles in the classroom and a pending request to Echo360 for financial support for OIT’s Lunch ‘n Learn series.
