Geospatial Research at Princeton - Software Tools and Staff Support

The variety of computer applications using geographic information continue to grow, as does access to geographic data itself. Princeton makes Geographic Information System, image processing and other geospatial software tools widely available, and provides training and support in using these tools. Princeton staff assists users in finding the best available geographic data for their research needs. This presentation will introduce the software tools and staff resources available to the University.
Speaker Bios: Tsering Wangyal Shawa is the Geographic Information Systems Librarian and Head of the Digital Map and Geospatial Information Center in the Peter B. Lewis Library, Fine Hall Wing, B-Level.
Bill Guthe is the Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing Coordinator, Computational Science and Engineering Support, Academic Services, Office of Information Technology, Room 344, Peter B. Lewis Library.
