Lunch and Learn: William Howarth and Janet Temos — “Kindle on Fire”
This talk surveyed trends and examine the new Kindle Fire. It looked at the pros and cons of the Kindle Fire, compare it to the iPad and Nook, and tried to speculate on future developments in the rapidly changing book world.

The Educational Technologies Center provides support for the purposeful use of technology in teaching, learning and research. You can visit the ETC Main Office and New Media Center in Lewis Science Library, and you can visit the Humanities Resource Center in East Pyne Hall. From the ability to try out specialized software and hardware, to offering consultation and training, we provide members of the academic community at Princeton University the tools and information they need to use technology to achieve their pedagogic goals. We host weekly technology seminars, tutorial blog entries and screencasts, and provide one-on-one consultations for faculty members and staff.
