The Centers

The ETC has two centers, the New Media Center (NMC) and the Humanities Resource Center (HRC).

The NMC provides an OIT and student-staffed multimedia laboratory for the university community to access cutting-edge digital media technologies and receive instruction or assistance in their uses.

The NMC have been a focal point for online and offline multimedia content creation at Princeton since 1994. Their doors are open to Princeton faculty, staff, and students, who would like to enhance their academic projects or simply create and edit digital content.

The New Media Center is located in the lower level of the Lewis Library.

The HRC provides resources, facilities, and support for the purposeful use of technology in teaching, learning, and research. The HRC supports independent language study with a large selection of instructional materials and the appropriate viewing technology. The HRC also assists Princeton University faculty in incorporating technology and video in their teaching and research. The HRC manages the majority of the University's  video collection and  video reserves.

The Humanities Resource Center is located in the lower level of East Pyne.
