The Hon. Olli Rehn holds a D.Phil from Oxford University. He has been responsible for Enlargement in the European Commission since 2004. Before joining the European Commission, he was economic advisor to the Prime Minister of Finland. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1991-1995, and a member of the European Parliament from 1995-96. Dr. Rehn was Deputy Chairman of the Centre Party of Finland from 1989-1994.
