Andrea Everett studies the role of public opinion, bureaucracy and other domestic influences on international politics, with a focus on European politics and the transatlantic relationship. In her graduate studies at Princeton, she is particularly interested in the relationship of these factors to the processes of EU integration and expansion to Eastern Europe. In her undergraduate thesis, she studied foreign policy decision-making among the Central and Eastern European members of the European Union as they prepared for EU accession--a topic she continues to research. During the 2004-2005 academic year, Andrea was the recipient of a Fulbright grant and attended the Free University in Berlin, Germany, where she researched German and EU politics as well as transatlantic relations.
