A former EU Program Undergraduate Fellow, Ledina ('11) created the EU Program Undergraduate Fellowship with co-Directors Drs. Sophie Meunier and Andrew Moravcsik. Born in Tirana, Albania, she was inspired to study economic policy and institutional design after witnessing Albania’s difficult transition from dictatorship to democracy. At the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy and International Affairs, Ledina’s Senior Thesis was one of the first investigations in the world on the institutional response to the sovereign debt crisis. Her thesis was advised by Dr. Sophie Meunier and awarded the EU Program Thesis Prize. Ledina and Sophie Meunier are co-authors of "Time Will Tell: The EFSF, the ESM, and the Euro Crisis", Journal of European Integration, Vol. 35, No. 3, pp. 239-253. She is currently pursuing her graduate studies at Harvard Law School.
