Madeleine Planeix-Crocker is a freshman at Princeton University (class of 2015). She is French-American and grew up in Los Angeles, where she attended the Lycée International de Los Angeles, pursuing the French Baccalaureate (Bac S) along with an International Baccalaureate Higher Level A1 English certificate. Madeleine was inspired by her dual culture, as well as by her internships at the Palais de la Découverte (Parisian science museum) and at the City Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles, to join the European Union Program. She intends to major in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, with a focus on European cultural and scientific diplomacy. Her extensive background in the dance and theater has pushed her to integrate the arts in all that she pursues in academics. Madeleine looks forward to organizing discussions around French-American affairs and European culture. She is bilingual (English and French) and is proficient in Spanish.
