Teppei Yamamoto

    Yamamoto studies comparative politics of OECD countries, with a focus on Western Europe and European integration. He is also interested in formal and quantitative political methodology and its application to comparative and American politics--including studies of Japanese public opinion and a survey experiment on attitudinal gaps between blacks and whites in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Yamamoto grew up in Japan and Thailand, has studied European politics and economics at Oxford University, and holds a B.A. in liberal arts from the University of Tokyo.
