The Vice President for Campus Life has oversight responsibility for undergraduate campus life, including the Office of Religious Life, the Department of Athletics and Campus Recreation, Princeton University Health Services, the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students, which is responsible for matters relating to the conduct and discipline of undergraduates as well as extracurricular activities, the Pace Center, which focuses on civic engagement; and the Office of Career Services.
The Vice President is also the co-chair of the Undergraduate Life Committee and the University liaison to the Army and Air Force ROTC programs, the Princeton Summer Journalism Program, and the Princeton-Blairstown Center, an adventure-based experiential education program that addresses the challenges of at-risk urban youth. The Vice President shares policy responsibility for the housing and dining programs, represents Princeton in the Policy Committee of the Ivy League, and serves on the following committees of the faculty: the Policy Committee on Athletics and Physical Education, Examinations and Standing, and Undergraduate Admission and Financial Aid.
In addition to the six main units that report to the Vice President, the Office of Campus Life Initiatives, which oversees the Alcohol Coalition Committee (ACC), various international travel initiatives, and Outdoor Action, the University’s wilderness programming office, is housed within the Vice President’s administrative unit.
