FCP Computer Models

FCP faculty are eligible for one of the standard packages. Funds are not available to purchase other computer models or upgrade middle- or high-end computational equipment.

Several computer standard packages are available through the PRIME MarketPlace. The kits are clearly marked as FCP Models.   If none of the standard options meet your faculty’s needs, please contact faccomp@princeton.edu.

Note:  The equipment must be, and will remain labeled as, property of Princeton University. It must be returned to the University if the faculty member leaves the University. The equipment will revert to the central administration for disposal at the end of its useful life.

The Dell, Apple and Lenovo models can only be purchased by FCP Purchasers using the PRIME Market Place.  See FCP Purchasing instructions.

All FCP models are eligible to participate in The DeSC Program Managed Environments.

Only FCP Purchasers are authorized to purchase FCP computers in the PRIME MarketPlace.

Faculty members: See your department or program manager to participate in the Faculty Computer Program.

FCP Purchasers:  All FCP Dell, Apple and Lenovo models will be specifically marked as "FCP Base" or "FCP Upgrade" kits in PRIME. Dell, Apple and Lenovo models not specifically marked as an FCP Model are not eligible for reimbursement from the Faculty Computer Program.
