Outdoor space falls under the same guidelines for use as other University Facilities with the additional requirement that outside not-for-profit groups must be sponsored by a University Department.
Outdoor Events Include
- Festivals
- Fairs
- Barbecues
- Picnics
- Study Breaks
- Sponsored Vendors (poster sales etc.)
- Concerts

Private Events for Faculty / Staff / Alumni
Weddings / Bar- and Bat mitzvahs / Special Events
Princeton hosts these types of private special events exclusively at Prospect House and Palmer House. These are members only facilities. Members include Staff, Faculty & Alumni. Events can be held to honor a member, his/her spouse, or his/her immediate family members (children, siblings, parents).
Alumni Class Events
Class events should be coordinated with the Alumni Association and can be held at any appropriate location across campus.
