MECHANICAL
- Responsible for ensuring that campus buildings have efficient and functional heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fire protection, plumbing, and laboratory utilities systems that are consistent with the uses of that space.
- Design and/or project management for mechanical projects. (Ex. Major HVAC equipment replacement or new HVAC system for the Faculty Room in Nassau Hall)
- Provide design work for small renovations.
- Troubleshooting and investigations of significant HVAC problems.
Work primarily with the Maintenance Department, Office of Physical Planning and Environmental Health and Safety offices on mechanical projects throughout the University.
