Meal Plans

Requirements
All individuals living in a residential college are required to purchase a meal plan. Upperclass students not living in a residential college may also purchase a meal plan. A meal plan allows you to eat in any residential college dining hall and at the Center for Jewish Life.
Meal Plan Contracts
Freshmen choose a meal plan and electronically sign their dining contract in the summer prior to their arrival to Princeton. Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors living in a residential college choose a meal plan and accept a meal plan contract for the following year during Room Draw. Juniors and Seniors not living in a residential college may select a meal plan at Room Draw or any time throughout the year at the Undergraduate Housing Office in MacMillan Building, making a selection and signing a contract.
Meal Plan Options
Freshmen and sophmores are required to purchase a meal plan and have several meal plan options, including block plans and the unlimited meal plan.
Upperclass students whether required to purchase a meal plan because of their residence in a residential college, or who purchase a meal plan because of the convenience, quality of food, and camaraderie a dining hall experience provides, have several meal plan options, including an unlimited meal plan and block plans. Block plans are a great way to create flexibility in your dining choices because of membership in an Eating Club, or if you prefer dining options in addition to the Residential College Dining Halls.
