Students Permitted Storage on Campus
If you are planning to store your belongings during the summer you should be aware that these individuals are the only individuals granted summer storage space on campus. (see below: for-fee options)
- International Students
- Study Abroad Students
- Temporary storage for Students Granted Interim Housing During Reunions.
Storage Area Locations and Guidelines for Students Permitted Storage on Campus
- International Student Storage
International student storage is located in Fisher Hall basement. In order to gain access to this storage area you must be recognized as an International student by the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (ODUS). Building Services is provided a list of names of international students and entry to this storage area is dependent upon this list. You are limited to two storage boxes. Furniture may not be stored.
- Study Abroad Student Storage
Study Abroad student storage is located in 1939 Hall, second entry. In order to gain access to this storage area you must be recognized as a Study Abroad student by the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (ODUS). Building Services is provided a list containing the names of Study Abroad students and entry to the storage area is dependent upon this list. Box storage is available, however you are not permitted to store furniture.
- Interim Housing Temporary Storage
Interim Housing Temporary Storage is located in the basement of Gauss, first entry. Students with Interim Housing status as determined by the Housing Department should temporarily store valuable items they will be taking home for the summer while they are housed during Reunions. Please do not leave your valuables unattended while living in Interim Housing. Box storage and some furniture storage is available.
Remember Interim Housing storage is temporary, and all items must be removed by June 30. Items not removed by June 30 will be moved to another location and you will be charged a storage fee.
Storage Tags
If you are storing items in University storage, a label will be provided to you and must be on your items for entry into storage. You will receive a ticket stub as a receipt of the items you leave in storage. You must retain the ticket stub to retrieve your storage items.
Campus Storage Drop-Off Hours
The following schedule has been provided by Building Services for access to storage areas. During these dates and times the storage areas will be staffed. Storage areas may not be accessed during the reunion period.
- Monday, May 18 through Friday May 22, 2008
9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
12:30 p.m. - 3 p.m. - Saturday, May 23, 2008
9:00 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Campus Storage Retrieval Hours At Move In
During the Move In period hours of storage retrieval will be available.
Princeton Student Agencies Moving and Storage Agency
The Princeton Student Agencies Moving and Storage Agency will pick up your items, store them, and deliver them to your dormitory in the fall. Bicycles may also be stored for a fee when brought to a drop off point. Details include sign-up dates and locations, pick-up dates, and official prices, insurance information, weight and size requirements and restrictions.

Public Storage
A number of public storage facilities are located near campus. Students must make their own arrangements for this service. The list provided is neither comprehensive nor totally inclusive of University contract vendors. The information provided is solely tor the convenience of Princeton University students.
