Laundry Facilities
Dormitory Laundry Facilities
Laundry facilities are located in dormitories across campus. Equipment contained there includes washers and dryers and are provided free of charge. Irons and ironing boards are not provided, but students may bring their own to campus. Mac-Gray Corporation, a provider of campus laundry services has been contracted by the University to provide and repair laundry equipment.
Laundry Room Upgrades
A multi-year initiative has recently begun to upgrade several laundry facilities across campus. Upgraded equipment will include LaundryView (TM) a web-based system that allows students to check the availability of washers and dryers online and receive notification via computer or cell phone when their laundry cycle has been completed in the machine they are using. Laundry rooms with LaundryView presently installed are indicated by location. As part of the upgrade, laundry bins are being added to laundry facilities as well as white boards to designate machine usage (see Laundry Room Etiquette for more detail).
Princeton Student Laundry Agency
Those students willing to pay a fee for laundry service may contact the Student Laundry Agency who will pick up your laundry each week, take it to a professional laundry service, and deliver it within three days to your room washed, dried, and folded, or on hangers.
