About Facilities
The Princeton University Facilities Organization is a large and diverse group of departments that support the educational mission of Princeton University and steward its physical resources. We plan, build, and care for the buildings and grounds, remove trash, and maintain and monitor life safety systems. We manage the energy that heats, cools, and powers the Princeton campus. We also provide critical support for the Campus Plan and Sustainability Plan that guide the growth of Princeton's campus. In addition to supporting the academic mission of the University in material ways, our work helps create a sense of community and a feeling of connectedness for not only the students who pass through here, but also for the faculty and staff who work here. Princeton University is a special place, and we who take care of it have a special responsibility. Because of that, the Facilities Organization strives to be the best of its kind.
