Facilities Operations
Facilities Operations preserves the beauty and safety of our campus. Over the course of a year, Facilities processes approximately 60,000 service requests to maintain and enhance our buildings and campus. The different groups within Operations maintain the buildings, grounds, and roads; provide janitorial and moving services, equipment rental, electrical power, and utility distribution; operate a transportation vehicle maintenance and inspection garage, door security systems, and fire and security alarm systems. The groups work on the main and Forrestal Campuses, provide operational support for Richardson and Taplin auditoriums, and provide services to off-campus graduate housing, faculty and staff housing, and commercial properties.
