Firestone Library Walkway Closure
In support of ongoing renovations to Firestone Library, beginning the week of January 28, contractor teams will establish a fenced work area on the walkway that extends east from William Street between Firestone and the Chapel. The fenced work area will constrain the path, and at times the area will be closed altogether. This is to accommodate a large crane that will be in use on a limited number of days.
A temporary path will be established through Hibben Garden at the base of the Chapel. When the route is closed altogether, pedestrians will be directed to enter campus through Rothschild Arch, around the east end of the Chapel.
Contractors anticipate the enclosure will be removed and the path restored by the end of April 2013.
