Update: 4:15 p.m. Residents of Butler Apartments, with the exception of residents of a few select units, may begin returning to their apartments this afternoon, Tuesday August 17. Power has been restored to the area as the University continues to clear downed trees and power lines around the Butler Apartments. Update: 12:59 p.m. PSE&G reports that power has been restored to the Hibben and Magie Apartments. Please allow about two hours for the hot water and cooling systems as well as the elevator to be operational. These systems take some time to restart. Update: 9:30 p.m. Because of severe storms that moved through the area Monday, August 16, Faculty Road between Washington Road and Harrison Street remains closed, and is expected to be closed throughout the morning of Tuesday, August 17. Because of downed tree limbs and power lines, faculty, staff and students that typically arrive on campus via Faculty Road and Washington Road should plan alternate routes.
