A portion of Ivy Lane from Roper Lane to parking lots 14 and 26 will be closed from Monday, July 30 until Friday, September 14 while Facilities Engineering completes a steam line maintenance project. There will be no through traffic on Ivy Lane from Washington Road to Western Way during construction. However, all University parking lots will remain accessible during this construction. Beginning at 7 p.m. this evening, Tuesday, July 24, New Jersey American Water (NJAW) will make emergency repairs on a 60” water main in Manville, NJ that distributes water to Princeton Borough and Princeton Township. NJAW anticipates the repairs will last for 24 hours. During repairs, NJAW will need to take the main out of service. Water service to 87 Prospect will be turned off for a short time on Saturday, July 21 beginning at approximately 6 a.m. and ending at 9 a.m. to perform repairs. We apologize for any inconvenience this shutdown may cause. Questions may be directed to the Facilities Service Center.
A building-wide steam shutdown is scheduled for McCosh Health Center, Guyot and Eno Halls on Monday July 16 beginning at 3 p.m. until Wednesday, July 18 at midnight. The shutdown is necessary to perform work related to the steam tunnel link between Guyot and Eno Halls. During the outage there will be no heating to the buildings' HVAC systems and no hot water.
