The university is giving away seven houses along Alexander Street that otherwise would be slated for demolition to make way for its $330 million arts and transit project.

After more than six years of planning, construction of Princeton University’s $300 million Arts & Transit project is on track to start with demolition this spring. According to a schedule released by the University at a meeting of the council of the Princeton University Community earlier this month, the initial work will begin with the sidewalk in front of Forbes College, on Alexander Street, where power lines will be moved. read more in Town Topics.
The Plumbing Shop will shut the water off to the building to make an emergency repair. Please plan accordingly.
Once the water is restored, please allow it to run for 60 seconds to ensure any impurities pass through the pipes.
