Electric Shutdown Jadwin Hall, Sat. Nov 21
A complete electrical shutdown to Jadwin Hall is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 3 a.m. until approximately 12 noon. If all work goes as expected, the power may be restored before noon. This electrical outage is necessary to remove an abandoned breaker and includes some tie-ins to the new Chemistry building. Stairwell lamps will not be affected by this outage.
Elements that will be affected by this outage include:
- Building lights and outlets
- Three-phase power for vacuum pumps and G-M refrigerators
- Building HVAC
- Fume hoods
- Air compressors
- Laser water
- Helium recovery compressors
