Dorian Johnson has been appointed deputy director of housing for operations in Princeton University’s
Housing and Real Estate Services Department. He is responsible for all aspects of operations for Princeton University’s dormitories and rental properties. His appointment was effective on November 14, 2011.
Most recently, Dorian has served as Assistant Director, Finance and Student Housing, at The Rockefeller University in New York City. In that role he provided comprehensive leadership for Rockefeller’s housing programs for doctoral students and faculty.
A graduate of Brown University, Dorian began his career as a financial analyst in the Public Finance Department of J. P. Morgan & Co.
As deputy director, Dorian will report to Andrew Kane, director of Housing and Real Estate Services.
“We are delighted to welcome Dorian Johnson to our team,” said Kane. “In a competitive national search, Dorian showed himself to have the ideal background to deliver on Princeton's commitment to excellence in the operations of our dormitories and rental properties. He combines expertise in student and faculty housing management with a passion for improving customer service."
Dorian succeeds Melissa Plaskonos, who is now Associate Director of Facilities Services for Housing, Dining, and Hospitality at University of California, San Diego.
