Installation Process/ Phase Four
Installation Continues Until Completed
As the CACS Installation moves forward, final connections to the building processor are completed.
System Programmed
The system is programmed using clearance codes determined by the Building Access Coordinators and Department Access Facilitators in their planning meetings and in accordance with the door naming protocol established in Phase Three.
System Tested
An acceptance testing program or ATP begins once installation is complete. The testing process includes a pre-test conducted by the system manufacturer and an Acceptance Test Procedure conducted by the University. The testing establishes the following:
- Is the system working according to specifications?
- Are the readers, alarms, exist devices working properly?
