How To Use Your TigerCard For CACS Entry
Your TigerCard will open a CACS secured door if it has been programmed to do so. Only authorized persons with a valid reason to enter CACS buildings when they are locked will be granted a clearance code on their TigerCard.
To use your TigerCard to open a CACS door complete the following steps:
- Look to see that the Status LED light on top of the reader is green.
- Present card to reader, placing card next to the reader.
- Listen for beep.
- Light on reader will flash green/red.
- Open door.
