Becoming a Building Access Coordinator (BAC) or a Departmental Access Facilitator (DAF)
BACs are authorized to grant access to electronically secured buildings by assigning clearance codes, changing door schedules, and authorizing changes to other programming within the CACS policy. DAFs are only authorized to grant access to exterior doors for their own staff needing access to multiple buildings because of the nature of their work assignment.
