Clearance Code Changes for Generic Loaner Cards
Loaner cards act as a “key” to an electronically-secured area and are used by people who are not eligible for a TigerCard or Contractor/Visitor Badge. Clearance codes allow the cardholder to enter certain doors when those doors are locked.

Please follow these guidelines to request this service.
- Who is Authorized to Request this Service
Only BACs/DAFs, each of whom possess different clearance code granting privileges, are authorized to request a clearance code change for a loaner card. The requester of the clearance code must be the assigned owner of the loaner card. - To Find Your BAC or DAF

This service is available 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Last minute needs after business hours can not be filled. - How to Request
To request that clearance code changes for a loaner card submit this request form. Your request will be sent to Public Safety for approval. Approval is not required to remove clearance codes. - Information Needed
You will be required to provide the reason the clearance code is needed as well as the clearance code(s) to be assigned.
Response Time
Approval or denial for your request will occur within three (3) business days.
Limitations to Service
BACs can only request the clearance codes for their buildings. The DAFs can only request those clearance codes on their clearance code list. Both can request a list of their approved clearance codes by sending an e-mail to bacsdafs@
