Troubleshooting Entry Problems
Entry problems can be caused by a malfunctioning card reader or lock, a non-working card, or the lack of an appropriate clearance code. This service is provided to help determine the cause of the entry problem.

Please follow these guidelines to request this service:
- Who is Authorized to Request This Service
Anyone with a valid TigerCard may request troubleshooting service.
- When This Service Is Available
During business hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Note that self-service troubleshooting is available at all times online.
- How To Request
You may contact Site Protection at (609) 258-5777 from the problem door or come to the TigerCard office with your TigerCard. The TigerCard office is located on the A floor of New South.
- Information Required
Your Name or PUID
Response time is immediate.
Limitations to Service
Entry problems may not be able to be fully resolved immediately, especially after business hours.
There is no charge for this service.
This service is only offered to doors that are electronically secured.
