Bike Lock Removal
As a service to members of the Princeton University community, our maintenance staff will provide assistance in removing bike locks for those individuals who have lost their lock key or combination. This service is available to individuals who have registered their bicycle with the Office of Transportation and Parking Services and requires proof of ownership prior to the removal of the lock.
To Request this Service
For assistance, please follow these steps.
- Complete the Bike Lock Removal Form on the Office of Transportation and Parking Services Web site.
- Meet the University maintenance person at the location of your bike at the arranged time. Bring the completed form with you. You must provide the completed form to verify ownership, or your lock will not be removed.
- Give the form to the individual performing the bike lock removal.
Bike lock removal is a courtesy service; there is no fee for this service.
