Indoor Space Selection and Reservation
Indoor spaces are available in many venues across campus. Note that reservation guidelines contained here apply to University events hosted by student organizations, faculty, and staff. Special reservation regulations apply to not-for-profit organizations.
Private Parties
Private parties are held at Prospect House and Palmer House only. See the instructions below for reserving this space.
Commonly Used Indoor Spaces and Method of Reservation for University Events
The following is a list of the most commonly used indoor spaces on campus and the method of reservation. If you are planning your own event, the contact provided will gladly discuss with you the suitability of the space for your event.
- Classrooms on Campus
University Scheduling is, in most cases, the contact for available classroom space on campus. Check their site for pictures and descriptive text, including room capacity and media equipment contained in each room. You may request the use of these spaces online. You will need your GL account number. If you have special media equipment requirements you may browse the listing of media-equipped rooms on the media -equipped room page of the OIT Media Services Web site. This listing will also provide a contact for room reservation. - Frist Campus Center
University Scheduling is the contact for available rooms within the Frist Campus Center. Check their site for pictures and descriptive text including room capacity and media equipment contained in each room. You may make a request to reserve these spaces online. - Richardson Auditorium
Recognized student performing arts organizations, including member groups of the Student Performing Arts Council and a capella groups, may reserve space in Richardson Auditorium. You may submit a request online to hold your event here. For inquiries and further information please contact Delia Vayaynsky, Director for Richardson Auditorium at 609-258-5600. - Carl A. Fields Center
Carl A. Fields Center maintains a descriptive list of available space, a calendar to determine availability, and rules for use. You may submit a reservation request online. - Dillon Gymnasium
Send an e-mail to Dan Bennett to request use of Dillon Gymnasium. Include the date, time, and area of gym you are requesting, and include a brief description of the event as well as the anticipated number of participants. - Woodrow Wilson School
Submit requests to use Roberston Hall using the online Room Reservation Form (your netID is required) or send an e-mail to the Facilities Services Offices at the Woodrow Wilson School at wwsbus@princeton.edu. - Murray Dodge
Student religious organizations may use space within Murray Dodge. Contact the Office of Religious Life for more information. You may submit a reservation online. - Whig Hall
Whig-Cliosophic Society affiliated events and some departmental events may be held in Whig Hall. A list of available rooms, a schedule indicating dates available as well as instructions for reserving rooms can be viewed online. - Campus Club
The Campus Club offers event space for student organizations. A descriptive list of available rooms, a room availability calendar, rules for use and an online reservation form can be viewed online. - Eating Clubs
Contact the social chair or president of the club directly to reserve space in an eating club. The web site of each club contains contact information. An Eating Club Event Form is required, signed by the Club Manager and the Undergraduate Club President. - Residential Colleges
To hold an event in a Residential College contact the College Administrator within each college to determine what space is available and to make a reservation. - Athletic Facilities (indoor excluding Dillon Gymnasium)
Contact the Intercollegiate Program Manager in the Department of Athletics at 609-258-0062 to determine what space is available to you and to make a reservation. - Palmer House
Palmer House is available by special arrangement for official University functions and personal functions for alumni, faculty, and staff of Princeton University. To make a reservation and to request approval alumni, faculty and staff members may contact Palmer House catering offices directly at (609) 258-3715 or by sending an email to palmer@princeton.edu.
