Cleanup Services For Your Event
If your indoor site requires a cleaning after the event, Facilities staff will perform all the tasks necessary to put the site back to the condition in which it was found.
This may include such things as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms used during the event, removing any trash or recycling materials left behind, washing entry door glass and cleaning table tops.
Members of the University community with a budget account number may request a cleanup prior to the event by using the Event Support Request Form. Approved external groups need to coordinate requests with Conference and Event Services. Dining Services and other caterers do not clean the space.
Please understand even if cleanup is not requested, we will cleanup if we determine it is necessary to return the space to its original condition, and cleanup fees will be applied.
The cleanup fee is based on labor costs.
Labor fees vary depending on the time of day, and day of the week cleanup is required. Many times we are asked to perform this service after normal business hours, especially for large events. Overtime rates may also be charged if our staff must leave their regular assignment to perform unscheduled event cleanup.
Although cleanup costs vary depending on the location, size and type of event, a typical cleanup costs $75 to $100.
